ACCOMMODATION DATA.
Tourism Revelstoke receives accommodation performance data for Revelstoke's traditional accommodation sector through CoStar Hospitality Market Data. Metrics analyzed in this report include Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), Supply, Demand, and Room Revenue. The dataset represents approximately 75% of traditional accommodation room inventory within Revelstoke and is considered the most comprehensive source of accommodation performance data currently available for the destination.
VISITOR DATA.
Tourism Revelstoke conducts Visitor Experience Surveys year-round to better understand visitor satisfaction, travel behaviour, and economic contribution within the destination. Survey respondents represented a diverse range of age groups, travel motivations, accommodation types, and geographic markets. Find visitor spend data, challenges, and feedback.
MRDT & OAP.
The MRDT is an up to three percent tax applied to sales of short-term accommodation in participating areas of British Columbia.
MRDT, collected by online accommodation platforms such as Airbnb, is known as the OAP. Revelstoke opted to create a fund for affordable housing from the OAP.

An ongoing survey to better understand residents' perceptions and sentiments towards tourism in Revelstoke. It helps to inform our Destination Management priorities for the coming years.

The City of Revelstoke and Tourism Revelstoke contracted Telus to provide data about visitation based on cell phone pings. These reports provide information about the number of unique visitors to Revelstoke and their movements within the local area.
