Tourism Revelstoke is comprised of 4 full-time staff members. Our team oversees marketing for our destination, as well as destination management initiatives. We work closely with the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce, which operates Revelstoke’s Visitor Information Centre and is responsible for aspects of tourism related to the visitor experience.

Robyn Goldsmith
INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
With years of varied professional experience, my journey includes studying and practicing law, destination management, leading as an outdoor educator and guide, event production, and nonprofit governance. At the core of my expertise lies a potent blend of communication, problem solving, and leadership skills. My unique experience and skill set helps me empower teams and individuals, with innovative solutions and strategies.

Kyla Egan
INCOMING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kyla brings over a decade of destination strategy experience, most recently as a senior consultant at Resonance Consultancy, where she led strategic planning for organizations including the City of Los Angeles, Destination Toronto, and Destination Canada. Previously, she was Director of Sustainability at 4VI (Tourism Vancouver Island), working across 200 businesses and 30 communities. Her work has been recognized by the UNWTO and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, and has received the International Regenerative Travel Award.
Kyla's approach to destination development is grounded in community-led, equitable tourism, a perspective shaped by fieldwork in Central America and Eastern Africa.

Kyra Sklar
DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
Kyra brings a dynamic mix of marketing expertise and community involvement to the team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a major in Marketing, as well as experience in both agency and in-house marketing. She specializes in marketing strategy, digital strategy, content management, social media management, website management, and advertising, excelling at connecting audiences with authentic stories. Outside of work, her passion for community, arts, and culture shines through various volunteer roles with organizations like Arts Revelstoke and Revelstoke Women's Enduro.

Lydia Syme
BRAND & PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER
Lydia brings over a decade of experience in the tourism industry. She crafts compelling brand stories that highlight both the iconic and authentic aspects of Revelstoke, ensuring the REVELSTOKE. brand resonates with audiences worldwide. She manages Tourism Revelstoke's media program, working with journalists, influencers, athletes, and other partners to showcase the destination. She's also your go-to for event equipment rentals and working with the summer Stoke Squad team.
Holding graduate qualifications in Environmental Management and Sustainability, she is passionate about integrating destination management practices into the brand's narrative, supporting sustainable growth, and preserving Revelstoke's unique character for future generations.

Taniell Hamilton
DESTINATION & SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER
Taniell is the Destination and Sustainability Manager for Tourism Revelstoke and is responsible for the implementation of the community’s destination management plan. She holds an advanced certificate in Strategic Energy Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability Studies.
Taniell’s experience spans a variety of different roles, including Sustainability Consultant, Program Manager for an environmental non-profit, and Sustainability Manager for Whistler Blackcomb Resort. By combining her background in sustainability with destination management, she aims to create enriching experiences for visitors while ensuring the preservation of Revelstoke’s natural beauty and cultural heritage for future generations.
