SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR TOURISM REVELSTOKE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

 We are seeking applications for the following seats:

  • 3 x traditional accommodation seats – Eligible applicants include any establishment offering overnight accommodation that carries on business in the City of Revelstoke, pays commercial city taxes, and offers four or more units. One of these seats will be for a one year term.

  • 2 x experience provider seats – Eligible applicants include those who are located in the City of Revelstoke or CSRD Area B and provide as their core offering, a tourism service or experience such as, but not limited to: A tourism operation, a recreational activity, an arts & culture experience, a food & beverage establishment, a transportation service, a retail service, a non-profit organization, an event, Parks Canada, First Nations.

  • 1x CSRD Area B accommodator – Eligible applicants include accommodation providers located in the CSRD Area B

Applications will be vetted by the current Tourism Revelstoke Board of Directors and then recommended for the election by voting members at the Annual General Meeting.


WILDFIRE WEEK.

Coming May 27 – June 1, Tourism Revelstoke has been working hard behind the scenes to bring this new community-wide event to life! In partnership with the FireSmart & the Resiliency Committee, Wildfire Week will see a series of different events take place throughout the community to help us protect Revelstoke for Wildfire season.
