Introducing Nikole Bisjak: Destination & Sustainability Coordinator
Tourism Revelstoke is pleased to announce that Nikole Bisjak has joined the team as Destination and Sustainability Coordinator. This role supports Tourism Revelstoke’s continued evolution from a traditional destination marketing organization into a leader in destination management, balancing visitor experience with community well-being and environmental stewardship.
In her role, Nikole will support sustainability initiatives, community engagement, volunteer programs, and data-driven reporting. Building on successful programs such as Wildfire Week and Thanksgiving Back, she will help coordinate stewardship efforts, strengthen partnerships, support impact tracking, and contribute fresh ideas as the organization looks toward 2026 and beyond.
Nikole brings over eight years of experience in environmental education, community outreach, and stewardship coordination across British Columbia, Alberta, and internationally. She has worked many roles; recently she has worked with the Capital Regional District as an Environmental Outreach Assistant, with Parks Canada in Banff National Park, with SeaChange Marine Conservation Society on Vancouver Island, and with other conservation organizations focused on habitat restoration, citizen science, and public engagement. Her background includes volunteer coordination, sustainability outreach, ecological monitoring, and digital communications, skills that align strongly with Tourism Revelstoke’s commitment to responsible destination management.
Originally from Victoria, BC, Nikole first moved to Revelstoke in 2024. She has held an array of positions in the tourism industry here in town. Now based in Revelstoke, Nikole is passionate about fostering collaboration, supporting a thriving volunteer community, and helping ensure Revelstoke remains a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
