A NEW CHAPTER FOR TOURISM REVELSTOKE.
After nine incredible years leading Tourism Revelstoke, and more than fourteen years working in tourism in our community, our Executive Director will be stepping into a new professional chapter at the end of March. This decision comes with mixed emotions for our team, but we know that change will bring a fresh energy and new perspective! Stay tuned for a longer and more personal farewell in the next newsletter.
In the meantime, the Tourism Revelstoke board is in the process of hiring, with the first round of interviews happening this week. We are hoping to have our next destination leader in the role for early March to ensure a smooth transition and continuity for the organization and our partners.

WHAT COULD A NEW MULTI-PURPOSE FACILITY LOOK LIKE FOR REVELSTOKE.
The City of Revelstoke will host a public townhall on February 25 from 6–9 pm to share an update on the Multi-Purpose Facility project and answer community questions. This will be followed by a resident engagement survey launching March 2. Tourism Revelstoke will be attending and encourages tourism partners to participate in both the discussion and the survey as community members and business operators.
As the conversation continues, this project presents an opportunity to explore how indoor recreation and gathering spaces could support residents, strengthen community infrastructure, and contribute to year-round vibrancy. Expanding indoor experiences may also help support local businesses during shoulder seasons and periods when weather conditions impact outdoor visitation, such as extended smoke or rainfall. We encourage all residents and business owners to get involved in this discussion!
