PARTNER SPOTLIGHT.

We’d like to congratulate Revy Rides on starting a much needed local transport service within downtown Revelstoke. They gave a whopping 456 rides on New Years Eve alone. That's a lot of party people who aren't behind the wheel! If you need a ride, give them a call!

FREE XC.

Visitors who book 2+ nights direct with their accommodator can access free Nordic rentals and trail passes at the Revelstoke Nordic Centre.

CITY SEEKS COMMUNITY INPUT ON SHORT-TERM RENTALS.

City Council directed staff in October 2024 to review Revelstoke’s existing rules and consider potential updates. As part of this review, the City has developed three possible policy scenarios that explore different ways short-term rentals could be managed in the community. The City will be hosting interactive group sessions to discuss the opportunities and risks associated with each option.

Public input is a key part of this process. Residents can participate in two ways:

  • Attend a public engagement session (four in-person sessions and two online options are available)

  • Complete the online survey, open until February 13, 2026

To register for an engagement session, email building@revelstoke.ca or call 250-837-3637 with your name, email, and preferred session time.

More information, including session dates and the survey, is available at talkrevelstoke.ca/str

BIG EDDY WINTER MARKET.

We attended the Big Eddy Winter market for the third year in a row. This brand activation gives people the chance to get their Christmas photo taken, printed, and put in a Christmas card in exchange for a donation to the Community Connections Holiday Food Bank Fundraiser. We raised $1122.25 on the night and matched this donation dollar for dollar.

This is a great example of using a marketing campaign to support our community!

POVERTY REDUCTION SURVEY.

Revelstoke’s 2012 Poverty Reduction Strategy is being updated to reflect current community needs. Your input will help set priorities for housing, food security, income, and social inclusion. This confidential survey takes about 10 minutes and will guide future planning.
Thank you for helping shape our community vision!
