Tourism Revelstoke Hires Destination & Sustainability Manager

Tourism Revelstoke is pleased to announce that as of May 1st, Robyn Goldsmith will be moving into the position of Destination & Sustainability Manager. This new role is unique for such a small Destination Marketing Organization, but Tourism Revelstoke recognizes the importance of being part of a progressive and more sustainable direction for tourism in our province.

Robyn’s core responsibility in this new role will be to oversee the creation of a Destination Management Plan. The planning process is expected to begin in August of 2022, with implementation beginning in the spring of 2023.

This new role will also involve liaising with contractors such as Greenstep to undertake a destination sustainability assessment. Robyn will also continue to manage special campaigns such as Sustain the Stoke and Thanksgiving Back.
